The Right Profile

Syfe is building the next generation of wealth management in Asia - combining institutional grade investments with a digital-first client experience. We are looking for a Wealth Advisory Director to lead our advisory function as a highly hands-on "player-coach" - managing a team while remaining actively engaged in top-tier client relationships.


This is a rare opportunity to operate at the intersection of client leadership, advisory, and platform building - working directly with leadership to shape how we serve both mass affluent and high-net-worth clients at scale, while driving strategic growth across the APAC region.
You will play a key role in designing a hybrid advisory model - delivering deeply personalised experiences for HNW clients, while translating advisory into scalable, tech-enabled journeys for the next generation of investors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Governance: Lead the wealth advisory team by mentoring talent and raising the bar for advisory quality while ensuring all operations remain strictly compliant with regional regulatory standards.
  • Hands-on Client Advisory: Drive significant AUM growth by originating high-net-worth relationships and serving as a trusted partner to a select portfolio of clients through proactive business development and high-quality investment advice.
  • Strategic Growth & Platform Scalability: Define Syfe's end-to-end HNW strategy and business plan while collaborating with product teams to digitise and scale advisory services for the mass affluent segment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or client-facing / sales roles, with strong exposure to HNW clients and proven experience mentoring or leading advisory teams.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and AUM growth, with the ability to independently originate opportunities.
  • Strong grounding in markets, financial products, and portfolio allocations, with the ability to engage in sophisticated investment discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and contribute at a strategic level.
  • A builder mindset - you are motivated by creating new models, not just operating within existing ones.
  • Strong commercial instincts combined with a long-term, client-first approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with digital advisory tools and a strong interest in Fintech or start-ups is a plus.
  • MAS-licensed or eligible under the Financial Advisers Act.
